Our approach
Not a hospital. Not a daycare. Not a coaching centre.
Children come here to move, play, explore and build confidence. Behind the play, a professional board monitors physical health, emotional regulation, behaviour, nutrition and developmental readiness — using non-invasive, play-led methods.
How it works
The six steps every child goes through
-
1
Intake & baseline
A child profile: home routine, diet, sleep, screen exposure and how care is shared at home.
-
2
On-floor observation
Structured play observation — movement, balance, behaviour triggers, confidence, communication and social response.
-
3
Board review
The paediatrician, psychologist and dietitian set priorities together; a therapist is consulted where indicated.
-
4
A personal parenting plan
A written 30-day plan (90 days on longer programmes) with actions you can actually measure.
-
5
Execution
Play sessions, coaching and parent guidance. Any recommended support runs inside the programme, not as a separate sale.
-
6
Report & upgrade
A monthly scorecard, next-step adjustments, and referral coordination if that is what the child needs.
Straight answers
What we do — and what we will not do
What we do
- Build fitness foundations — strength, balance, coordination, endurance, posture, breathing and risk-awareness
- Track growth and milestones objectively from 0–5 years, and beyond when needed
- Work with behaviour and emotional regulation — tantrums, aggression, sleep routine breakdown, anxiety patterns
- Reduce screen dependency risk — no screen gaming inside, and parent-led step-down plans at home
- Detect developmental concerns early and provide structured support
- Guide parents with practical home systems — routines, boundaries and consistency
What we do not do
- No academic teaching, handwriting practice or exam preparation
- No video games or screen-based play inside the PlayFit Zone
- No guarantees, no cure claims, no diagnostic labels used as marketing
- No judgement culture for parents — we fix systems, routines and skill gaps
A note on labels
We describe children by what they need
Children are described here by what they need, not by what they are called. Where a condition has already been identified elsewhere, that information stays in the child’s confidential file and informs the plan — it does not become the child’s identity inside the centre. A diagnosis is made only by a qualified professional after a proper assessment, never on the play floor.
For the same reason we use no diagnostic label in our marketing, promise no cure, and guarantee no timeline. What we do give you is structure, honest observation, a written plan and measurable reporting.
Governance, safety and ethics
The rules we hold ourselves to
- Every child interaction is supervised. Consent is required for assessments and for any observation beyond centre sessions.
- Child data is confidential and used only for care planning.
- PlayFit activities are matched to risk level. There is no forced participation, and safety gear is used where needed.
- CCTV covers play and circulation areas only. There are no cameras in toilets, nappy-change areas or the parent counselling room.
- All staff complete police verification, first aid and paediatric CPR training, and sign the child safeguarding policy.
- Therapy is delivered only by qualified practitioners within their scope of practice, and services outside our scope are referred out.
- No diagnostic label is used in marketing, and no child is described by a condition in any public material or on the play floor.
- Suspected abuse or neglect triggers the safeguarding protocol and appropriate referral guidance.
Next step
Start with an intake and a baseline observation
The board then recommends the right programme — and tells you honestly if your child does not need one.
